EVERYDAY MOMENTS.
REAL CONNECTION.

Three planned initiatives. One shared purpose: make space for people to connect, learn, and create together.

In development

The activities here describe our current ideas, not a confirmed schedule. Future sessions depend on host guidance, permissions, and appropriate supervision.

Tech Help

A little confidence
goes a long way.

Patient guidance can make everyday technology feel more approachable. The focus is on what someone wants to learn, with time to practice at their own pace.

What a future session could include

  • Find a useful setting, such as text size or volume.
  • Practice a familiar device feature together.
  • Explore ways to connect with family or friends.
What you could bring to this activity

You don’t need to know every answer. Listen, explain one step at a time, and let the person stay in control of their device.

Care and privacy to keep in mind

Never request passwords or financial information. Ask staff for help when a question involves private accounts, purchases, or unfamiliar risks.

Story Capture

Every story deserves
a thoughtful listener.

Guided conversations can make room for the memories and experiences that matter to someone. The conversation itself comes first; capturing a story is optional.

What a future session could include

  • Invite a memory about a favorite place, tradition, or hobby.
  • Ask open questions and follow the person’s interests.
  • With permission, help write a short memory summary.
What you could bring to this activity

Curiosity and patience matter more than interviewing experience. Give people time, avoid pressure, and welcome the stories they choose to share.

Care and privacy to keep in mind

Ask before taking notes or recording. Do not publish or share a person’s story without clear permission and the host’s approval.

Arts & Crafts

A shared table.
A little imagination.

Simple creative activities offer a relaxed way to spend time together. The aim is participation and conversation, not a perfect finished piece.

What a future session could include

  • Draw or sketch around a familiar theme.
  • Make a card with a message the participant chooses.
  • Explore simple painting or paper-based crafts.
What you could bring to this activity

Bring encouragement, flexibility, and a willingness to make something alongside someone else. Adapt to their interests and pace.

Care and privacy to keep in mind

Use only materials and activities approved by the host. Ask staff about accessibility needs, safe supplies, and appropriate assistance.

Ask about Arts & Crafts

Keep it simple. Make it shared.

An illustrative flow to adapt with a host, not a fixed schedule.

  1. 1

    Welcome & choose

Introduce yourselves and ask what the participant would enjoy or find useful.

  2. 2

    Learn & share

Try the activity together, leaving space for conversation and a comfortable pace.

  3. 3

    Reflect & close

Ask what they enjoyed, thank them for their time, and follow the host’s closing guidance.
